Wavemaster kit the wavemaster was originally built by les rowell. the boat is freelance but has been based on a typical boat that was used on the broads and on rivers in great britain in the 1950’s. this model was the first kit specially produced for early radio control.. I've joined this forum as i have been getting into a bit more model boat stuff recently after i finished off an old wavemaster kit that was started in the late 1960s. anyway here it is: it's powered by a mfa torpedo 850, direct driving a 45mm two bladed prop.. Many thanks for the interesting information and the publicity pictures of wavemaster when she was new, its very much appreciated as is the information. i understand this kit is a 1953 model, and it is in quite a state and the more i work on her, the more i find to do (my list is increasing by the hour)..
