You are better off bringing your own surfboards to bali that way you always have them with you. you can hire boards but they may not be what you like nor right for the conditions you want to surf.. You are only legally allowed to bring 3 surfboards per person with you into bali or you will find your hand having to go into the back pocket for a substantial fee. 10. if you bring u.s. currency make sure the notes are not circa ’96 or have any pen or ink discolourations what so ever or you won’t get em cashed.. On bali it is simple to hire a car (with or without driver) to go anywhwere you like for the day. or you can drive yourselves. (just need an international drivers license from the raa). traffic is hectic in kuta, but as soon as your out of the built up areas is pretty reasonable.i would think the boys would want to take their own boards, specially if theyre planning a boat trip!.
